Days off

Mental note: do not go out to a friend's place to drink over a bottle of wine on a night before your other friend's wedding. I wasn't ridiculously hammered (what? me? never?) but I did get ridiculously ill - thankfully only in the privacy of my home. Now I'm a bit disoriented but reasonably ready to go and enjoy the wedding. The summer seems to be over and I haven't even had my holidays yet. The scent of autumn is in the air and winter is inevitable. It's the time of the year that always makes me a bit sad.

Finally.

Lopussa kiitos ja muut elimet seisovat. Loosely translated, in the end the reward (and some other naughty bits) awaits! Results are out, I'm delighted to have received Second Class Honors, First Division, ie. 2.1. and therefore be an official BA and most likely a postgraduate student as well.

Meanwhile, I will be working my ass off to cover the costs of my reckless drinking, future student life and lovely summer clothes. I will also attend three different weddings (in the same outfit, cringe) and going to Croatia/Bosnia/Serbia with my lovely friend Ciara. Back in Dublin at the end of September.

Someone please come up with a dissertation topic for me!!

Future awaits while we lay back

MPhil in Gender and Women's Studies, Trinity College, University of Dublin.

How does that sound? I'm fascinated with titles. My current one (fingers crossed, the results are not out yet) BA in Economic and Social Studies, Joint Honours Political Science and Sociology, Trinity College, University of Dublin. And the MPhil is my next goal. Not bad, eh? I'm a bit too hyper to write more, also, I must go to the library and start thinking of possible dissertation topics.

What happens when you study too much..

After spending about 12 hours today in the library, I decided to do something different. So I created this. Maybe I'll actually have something to say as well, but at the moment I just want to go to bed and nurse my back that's suffering from the hard chairs in the library!
